Three, Two, One … Shots?
The Power of
Continued Collaboration

“Three, two, one … shots?” Yes, you read correctly. Shots. Our production team teamed back up with marketing agency Border X to film Episodes 3 and 4 of popular soju brand Jinro’s series Drink & Link. Now that both episodes have been released, let’s talk about the dedicated work that flowed into the project behind the scenes!

Originating from a theory to help understand demographics, terms such as "Boomers" or "Millennials" have become commonplace in day-to-day life. In the fourth episode of Drink & Link, nine guests got together for a few drinks and to discuss their opinions on controversial stereotypes, such as:

“Gen Z is too sensitive and can’t handle criticism.”

On the other hand, in the previous episode, the prompts focused on the hit series Squid Game, following a collaboration between Jinro and the show, to bring in wider audience attention abroad. Guests discussed the show’s global impact as well as moral dilemmas, and were finally met with a little game of their own—we won’t tell you, you’ll have to watch to find out!

But speaking of collaborations: Moktan Productions has now filmed four episodes for Jinro’s series Drink & Link alongside BorderX. Our continued partnership on this project has also yielded greater results: the same team, the same location, and a film set-up with all kinks already figured out upon arrival has enabled us to complete everything even more smoothly, despite the tight schedule.

To realize our client’s vision, our team ensured that we sourced matching talent—old favorites from previous episodes, as well as new faces—all coming together to share their opinions. Editing was handled by Moktan’s in-house editors, balancing footage from five cameras and ten audio tracks to create the dynamic collection of spontaneous, unfiltered moments that YouTube viewers fell in love with.

We are happy to see that the fun we had working on this exciting project has shone through. Episodes 3 and 4 of Drink & Link have now dropped as well, so join our guests once again as they discuss—maybe even have a drink on the side!
